Intro class:
If you are new to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with no prior grappling experience, attend our Introduction Class. This class prepares new and inexperienced students for group Fundamental Classes. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art based on grappling and ground fighting, focusing on the skill of controlling one’s opponent through techniques that force him or her to submit. Fundamentals program:
Designed to provide students with a solid foundation in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu through self-defense, basic BJJ theory, techniques and principles. Students are encouraged to ask questions to improve their overall understanding of the techniques and positions.
Intermediate program:
A continued exploration of BJJ theory, principles technique, and body mechanics. Positional sparring, drilling and live sparring are the core components of the class.
Advanced program:
Situational attacks, transitions, escapes and strategies are explored, in addition to a strong emphasis on instinctual application through live sparring.
Nogi program:
On the No gi program students will have the opportunity to learn the same Jiu-Jitsu techniques taught in the Gi programs, but learn how to adapt them to No gi situations. Students must wear the No gi uniform to attend the class.
